Poor Performance Management

If one of your employee's is not performing, not meeting expected outcomes, is absent regularly, has a health problem impacting on performance, is behaving inappropriately - whatever it is, we can help!!

Whether it is managing poor performance issues and setting up an appropriate Performance Improvement Plan, we can provide you with support, advice and the appropriate process that will help you to: 
  • Set up the appropriate process and provide documentation;
  • Conduct performance meetings with the employee;
  • Ensure appropriate expectations ane Performance Plans are put in place and monitors.
We also provide specific coaching and training programmes for managers and supervisors to support them the tools and knowledge to effectively manage a whole range of poor performance issue.
 

Misconduct and Investigations

If you receive a complaint or believe that the actions of one of your employee's could have breached your Code of Conduct and could therefore be misconduct if upheld, we can assist!!   We can provide you with support with conducting an independent investigation or help you navigate the misconduct and disciplinary procedures.  We are both licensed Private Investigators with the Ministry of Justice.  We can complete investigations on your behalf into:
  • Theft;
  • Bullying;
  • Sexual harrassment;
  • Conflict of Interest;
  • Threatening or aggressive behaviour;
We are able to carry out thorough, efficient, and timely employment investigations that meet all of your legal obligations.  If you want to know how to carry out an investigation yourself, we can advise you and we also have a training course, so you learn for yourself.
 

Performance Review (Appraisal) Systems

Whether you already have a performance review system that you may not be getting the best from your staff, or you need a completely new system, Sane Solutions can help.  We are able to provide advice and support and tailor make performance review systems to meet the needs of the client, whatever the size, industry or environment.  Our approach is to provide straight foward user friendly systems, that will get the most from the your employees and empower managers and supervisors.  We also ensure that our systems are inter-linked into other organisational processes to fully engage staff and enhance performance.

Personal Grievances

If you receive personal grievance from one of your employees and you are not sure what to do, then give us a call.  In managing a personal grievance we can provide you with the following advice and support:

  • Steps to take to manage a Personal Grievance;
  • Management of a Personal Grievance on behalf of the client which includes correspondence and planning the strategy;
  • Providing lead advocacy services representation for the client's case at mediation;
  • Negotiating outcomes/resolution on behalf of the client with the employees lead advocate/representative.

Industrial Issues & Disputes

We can help with advice and support on the resolution of disputes and industrial relationships with Unions.  If you need:
  • Assistance with resolving issues/relationship problems with the Union/s;
  • Assistance with negotiating employment agreements and updating employment agreements;
  • Assistance with strategy that allows your organisation to develop in the right way;
  • Assistance with developing more positive partnerships with Unions;or
  • Just advice on how to do all of the above.
